She screams as the light pierces the passage.

while they seek for balance within their own nature.

He rather conquer a higher view

somewhere in the canopies, or in the sunny sky,

somewhere in the eyes that demand what’s there to be seen.

or in the caresses done to the sacrificed being.

She takes shelter from heavenly showers,

and they at last find each other, in an odd shape, in these odd times.

Times at which the stars are swept clean,

by the soul’s most honest smile.

Wee seek understanding of our condition,

but regardless of it, we wonder

through places that whisper us an invitation

to jump into a new era

in which we’ll learn again how to share

and how to live together

in this ground

we inhabit.
