Sparkles light up a cave bringing light and heat for a few seconds to hidden corners of Brazilian grounds.
A yoga practitioner performs among cerrado trees and is also lid by those errant sparkles.
A park in Barcelona is stage to my first tests with locally found fireworks…
Thus these three events are connected through a thread of though in my mind: the continuation of a series I started a couple of years ago, and that seeks for renovation, seeks for burning the old to give place to something new.

Thank you Thais Joi Joy for being brave enough to be my first live model to an Impermanent Sculpture, which actually drew a small burn whole on your yoga outfit. Also thank you to Mabel Salgado who kindly took me to an urban park in Barcelona where I could try the technique with local fireworks (I have to say it’s not quite the result I could achieve with the Brazilian brand I used to work with).
